Obituary of Anna (LaRusso) Constantine

Anna (LaRusso) Constantine, 91, passed away peacefully on Monday January 25 at her home in Stanhope, surrounded by her loving family. Anna was born in the Port Morris section of Roxbury on February 28, 1924 to the late Vito and Antonia LaRusso and has resided in Stanhope for 60 years. Anna especially enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, as well as, crocheting and knitting, gardening, camping and rooting for the Yankees. Anna was known to have a sweet tooth and was fond of many desserts. Anna's greatest joy was spending time with her family and especially adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She worked as a sales associate for the Economy Department Store in Stanhope before retiring to enjoy her family. Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Arthur, three daughters, Anita and Fred Quayle, Adrienne and Richard Hade and Angel Constantine, seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Anna was the last surviving sibling of 10 being predeceased by seven brothers, 2 sisters and also by her twin daughters. Anna's Life Celebration will included visiting on Friday January 29 from 4-8 PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ and a funeral prayer service at the funeral home on Saturday January 30 beginning at 11:00AM. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM prior to prayers on Saturday. Anna will be privately laid to rest at Stanhope Union Cemetery at a later date.
