Obituary of Linda Carole Bloom

Linda Carole Bloom, 74, of Hopatcong, passed away on Saturday September 24, 2016 at Morristown Medical Center. Born in Mount Vernon, NY on June 9, 1942 to the late Joseph & Eileen Consolazio, Linda grew up in Mount Vernon prior to moving to Hopatcong over 40 years ago. Linda was a parishioner of St. Jude's Church in Hopatcong and an active member of the Hopatcong Senior Citizens. Linda loved to draw, make clothing and attend Bible study, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren who were "the light of her life". Survivors include her devoted husband, Edward G., loving children, Mark and wife Michele and Kathy Hughes and husband, Willy, five adoring grandchildren, Matthew, Maycie and Madden Bloom and Eric and Kimberly Hughes and her dearest sisters, Adrienne Groccia, Elaine Van Cak and JoAnn Carpanzano and husband, Peter. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Linda's Life Celebration will include visiting on Wednesday September 28 from 10:00am – 12:00pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Linda will be laid to rest at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester.
