Obituary of Myron Michael Pawlyszyn

Myron Michael Pawlyszyn, 69, of Belleville, passed away on Tuesday October 4, 2016 at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born in Munich, Germany on March 1, 1947 to the late Michael and Anna Pawlyszyn, Myron came to the United States in the 1950's. He served in the United States Army from 1970-1974. He earned his BBA in Finance from Iona College where he also minored in Economics. Myron retired from the United States Postal Service after 30 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, reading, classic movies and watching the Three Stooges, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. It was known that Myron's favorite place on earth was "anywhere he could go fishing." Survivors include his children, Andrew Pawlyszyn and his wife, Diane, Mark Pawlyszyn and his wife, Dana and Natalie Pawlyszyn, grandchildren Karleigh Pawlyszyn, Luca Pawlyszyn and Kendra Ritchie, a sister Stephanie Dome and her husband Carmine Dome, niece, Nicole Dome and nephew Carmine Dome, Jr. Also surviving is Myron's former wife, Blanche Pawlyszyn. Myron's Life Celebration will include a memorial Mass on Friday October 7, 2016 beginning at 11:00 am at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 335 US-46, Great Meadows, NJ 07838. Cremation was conducted privately and entrusted to Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, Landing, NJ.
