Obituary of Edward F. McFeeley

Edward F. McFeeley, III of Hopatcong, NJ passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 65 years old. Edward was born on February 22, 1951 in Montclair, NJ to the late Edward F., Jr. and the late Mildred (O'Brien) McFeeley. He was a resident of Hopatcong, NJ for the past 27 years and previously lived in Bloomfield, NJ. Edward was an electrician employed by the Port Authority of NJ in Newark for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Hopatcong Fire Department Northwood Engine Company #2. He enjoyed boating, fishing and was a certified scuba instructor. Edward is survived by his daughter, Nicole Camneter, his sisters, Clare Conway, Edie Tarantola and Susan Grasso, his brothers, Charles, Paul and James, 3 cherished grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his beloved brother, George. Edward's Life Celebration will include visitation on Wednesday, November 16th from 9:00 am to 10:00 am with a Fireman's Prayer Service beginning at 10:00 am at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. Then there will be a funeral mass at 11:00 am at St. Jude RC Church, 40 Maxim Drive in Hopatcong immediately following the visitation on Wednesday morning.
