Obituary of Marion Shewchuk

Marion Shewchuk, 90, of Chester, NJ, formerly of Astoria, Queens, NY, passed away on Saturday December 3 at Memory Care ALF. Born in Bronx, NY on January 24, 1926 to the late Peter and Dora (Kozowska) Shewchuk, Marion resided in the Astoria section of Queens, NY before moving to Randolph and then to Chester two years ago. She worked as a Bank Teller at Chase Bank in Astoria before retirement. Marion enjoyed painting. Survivors include her niece, Carol LaForte, two nephews, Bob & John Shewchuk and numerous great nieces and great nephews. Marion was predeceased by a brother, Sam and a sister, Anne. Marion's Life Celebration will include A Liturgy of Christian Burial on Wednesday December 7 at10:30am at St. Jude Parish, 17 Mt. Olive Road, Budd Lake, NJ. Marion will be laid to rest at Mt.
