Obituary of Joan C. Zdichocki

Joan C. Zdichocki, 76, of Albrightsville, PA and formerly of Jersey City, NJ passed away on Saturday January 14, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Jersey City on August 3, 1940 to the late Ralph and Catherine Reynolds, Joan lived in Jersey City until moving to Albrightsville, PA one year ago. Along with her husband, Robert, she owned and operated Ralph's Tavern in Jersey City. Survivors include her devoted husband, Robert S., Sr., loving children, Robert S., Jr. and his fiancé, Gail Widdoss, Catherine Cutone and her spouse, Michael, Joanne Koch and her spouse, Alan, and Patricia Ann Zdichocki and her spouse, Maria Grizzetti, seven adoring grandchildren, Amanda, Robert, Erica, Jillian, Crysta, Amber and Alexandra and seven cherished great grandchildren. Joan loved her dog "Katie" Joan's Life Celebration will include visiting on Wednesday January 18 from 4-8 PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A funeral prayer service will be offered on Thursday January 19 beginning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Friends and family may begin gathering at 9:30 Thursday morning before services. Joan will be laid to rest at Crest Haven Memorial Park, 750 Passaic Avenue, Clifton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
