Obituary of Wolf T. Schinzel

Wolf T. Schinzel, Sr. of Budd Lake passed away Wednesday, March 29 at home. He was 47. Born in Dover, NJ he lived in Hopatcong for most of his life before moving to Budd Lake. He was a graduate of Hopatcong High School in 1988. After graduating high school he became a welder and mechanic. Wolf was a member of the Hopatcong Fire Company #4 and also a member of the Elks Lodge in Hackettstown. He loved hunting and riding his Harley Davidson but his passion was restoring old cars. He was friend to all and one of the most compassionate loving people who went above and beyond for all. Loving father of Shannon O'Hern and her husband Brian, Wolf Schinzel, Jr., Victoria Cross and her husband Taylor, and his step-son Zachary Mason. Dear brother to Kelly Tatro and her husband Shawn, and Sean Schinzel. Cherished Grandfather of Karina, Braiden, Madison, Kelsey, Kailee, and the late Trevor Cross. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Wolf's Life Celebration will include visitation on Monday, April 3rd from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A Fireman's Service will be held prior to the prayer service which will begin at 7:30pm at the funeral home. All other services are being conducted privately after the services. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Hackettstown Elks Lodge, 210 Mountain Ave., Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
