Obituary of Dorothy Caiola

Dorothy "Betty" Caiola of Netcong, NJ passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover, NJ surrounded by her loving family. She was 76 years old. Known to her family and friends as "Betty", she was born on May 4, 1940 in Hackensack, NJ. She resided in Butler, NJ for 38 years before moving to Netcong 5 years ago. Mrs. Caiola was a credit analyst at Poly Pure in Parsippany, NJ for many years before retiring. Betty enjoyed sewing, crocheting, doll collecting, word puzzles and gardening but most importantly she loved to spend time with her family. Betty is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Michael, her daughter, Irene Friedman & her husband, Edward, her son, Michael & his girlfriend, Lisa and her cherished grandchildren, Danielle, Heather and Brendan. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Janet Frankel in 2003. Betty's Life Celebration will include visitation on Wednesday, April 5th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. There will be a Catholic Prayer Service offered on Thursday, April 6th at 10:00 am also at the funeral home . Betty will be laid to rest at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa immediately following the service. For memorial donations, please consider the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
