Obituary of Michael J. Katzenberger

Michael J. Katzenberger Sr. of Kenvil passed away suddenly Thursday June 8, 2017 at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover.

He was 50.

A stay at home Dad, Michael also worked with Alfred's Landscape Design in Montville and most recently as a custodian with St. Catherine of Siena Church in Mountain Lakes.

He enjoyed landscaping and boating, but one of his greatest joys was to attend his children's sporting events. He was an avid Rangers fan and enjoyed washing his truck and sitting by the fire especially with family and friends. He also enjoyed helping others when they needed a helping hand. 

Beloved husband of Denise (nee: Schulte) Katzenberger. Devoted father of Michael Jr., Jamie and Jaclyn Katzenberger. Loving son of Rudolph and Jane (nee: Wadsten) Katzenberger. Dear brother of Carl and his wife Liz, Gregory and his wife Denise, Rudy and his wife Laura Katzenberger and Linda and her husband Tony Rodriguez. Cherished nephew of Sue Katzenberger. Also survived by his 12 nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Michael's Life Celebration on Tuesday June 13 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday June 14 at 10:00AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 10 North Pocono Road, Mountain Lakes, NJ. All are welcome to meet directly at church for mass. Interment will follow at the Pleasent Hill Cemetery, Chester.
