Obituary of Manuel A. Mirailh

Manuel A. Mirailh of Coconut Creek, Fla. passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the Hospice By the Sea in Boca Raton, Fla. surrounded by his loving family. He was 83 years old. Born on April 23, 1934 in New York City to the late Mercedes (Bonneta) and the late Manuel Mirailh. "Manny" was a Sub District Director with the United Steel Workers of America in Edison, NJ. In addition, he owned and operated M&M Hardware in Landing, NJ for many years. Manny proudly served our country as a Paratrooper in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and skeet shooting. Mr. Mirailh was an active parishioner of St. Jude RC Church in Hopatcong, a longtime member of the Sparta Gun Club and he resided in Hackettstown, NJ before moving to Coconut Creek, Fla. Survivors include his beloved wife of 52 years, Janet (Zapata), his daughter, Adrienne DiBernard, his son, Keith, his cherished grandchildren, Nicole, Manuel V, Jarrett, Austin, Adrianna and Christopher and his great-grandchildren, Vianna, Michael and Ryane. He was pre-deceased by his sons, Manuel and Christopher and his grandson, Ryan. Manuel's Life Celebration will include a visitation on Friday, June 30th from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. There will be a Catholic Prayer Service offered at 5:30 pm also at the funeral home Friday evening.
