Obituary of Robert K. Fredericks

Robert K. Fredericks of Hopatcong passed away Wednesday August 23, 2017 at home after a brief illness with his wife Elizabeth by his side. He was 66. Born in Toms River, he has lived in Hopatcong for 38 years. Prior to his retirement, Robert was a siding and roofing installer. He enjoyed collecting Civil War memorabilia, fishing, and music. He is predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Grace (nee: Duggan) and a sister Gail Fredericks. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee: Bellante). Devoted father of Alisa Costello and her husband Brad. Loving grandfather of Braiden and Blake Costello. Dear brother of Tom Fredericks and his wife Patty, Larry Zell and his wife Joanne and Laura Brannon and her husband Tim. Also survived by his mother-in-law Rose Bellante, sister-in-law's Janice Forte and Sharon Matuza and many nieces, nephews and friends especially his best friend Robert "Dee" Jones. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Robert's Life Celebration on Monday August 28 from 6: PM to 9PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. A Prayer service will begin at 8:30PM. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or to the Humane Society.
