Obituary of Leonard Wilson, Sr.

Leonard Charles Wilson, Sr., 90, of Hopatcong, better known to his family and friends as "Chuck", passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday January 10, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Highland, MI, on December 20, 1927 to the late Leonard B. and Julia (Bach) Wilson, Chuck resided in Hopatcong since 1969. He worked as a Mechanic for the Parsippany Troy Hills Road Department for 30 years prior to retiring 24 years ago. Chuck loved fishing and camping, as well as, "tinkering and puttering" around the house. He was a member of the Knee Deep Club of Lake Hopatcong. Chuck was a devoted husband and father whose greatest joy was spending time with his family.

He was predeceased by his wife, Sally in 2001.

Survivors include his four children, Linda Halpern, Leonard C. Wilson, Jr., Sally Otte and Donald Wilson and a granddaughter, Sara Keyser.
