Obituary of Raymond M. Santella

Raymond M. Santella, Sr. of Succasunna died Thursday April 24, 2008 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare's, Dover. He was 82. Born in Port Morris, he lived in Succasunna for 56 years. He was an Iron Worker for Local #11 in Newark. A US Navy veteran, he served for 10 years as a 1st Boat's Mate in World War 2 and the Korean Conflict. Raymond enjoyed fishing, story-telling and golf. Beloved husband of 56 years of Leona (nee: McCall). Devoted father of Raymond Jr. of Succasunna, Arleen Santella of Flanders and Louise Chavers of FL. Dear brother of Louise Paliani of Ledgewood and Anthony Santella of FL. Cherished grandfather of Raymond M. Santella III of Hopatcong, Sean Santella of Hopatcong, Amber Santella of Philipsburg and Capria Preziosi of NC. Loving great grandfather of Mia Rose Santella of Hopatcong. Also survived by many nieces and nephews
