Obituary of Elizabeth V. Hefter

Elizabeth V. (nee: Sobosik) Hefter of Hopatcong died Friday April 4, 2008 at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville. She was 98. Born in Newark, she lived in Irvington before moving to Hopatcong in 1973. She was a school crossing guard with the Irvington Police Department from 1952 to 1972. A parishioner of St. Jude Church in Hopatcong, she was also a Eucharistic Minister for the church and a member of its Rosary Society. She enjoyed knitting for her grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Henry J., Sr. (1997). Devoted mother of Henry J., Jr. of Palm Coast FL, Robert C. of Cary NC, Thomas A. of East Hanover and Edward W. of Newton. Loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren and cherished great grandmother of 7 great grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
