Mary Stawniczy (nee: Madonna) died Sunday December 2, 2007 at her home in Hopatcong. She was 86 years old. Born in Ponza, Italy, Mrs. Stawniczy came to the United States at the age of three and settled in Germantown, NY. She resided in East Orange and Ventnor prior to moving to Hopatcong one year ago. She was a homemaker and previously had worked as a seamstress in Orange. Loving wife of the late John. Beloved mother of Anthony and his wife Michelle of Hopatcong and Donna Marie Jabier and her husband Michael of Galloway Twp. Dear sister of Gertrude Beckerich of New York State. Adoring grandmother of five and cherished great grandmother of three.
