Obituary of Anthony E. Kotarski

Anthony E. Kotarski died Saturday August 25 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover. He was 63 years old. Born in Jersey City to the late Anthony W. and Helen (nee: Boguslawski) Kotarski, he moved to the Landing section of Roxbury Township 27 years ago. He was a police officer for 26 years for the Jersey City Police Department before retiring in 1993. After his service as a police officer, Mr. Kotarski worked for Hudson County Welfare from 1993-2003. His memberships include the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #4 and Knights of Columbus Council #5114 where he was a 4th degree Knight. Mr. Kotarski enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking and hunting. Loving husband of Arkadia "Katy" (nee: Kolodij). Beloved father of Michael J. and his wife Kate of Parsippany. Adoring grandfather of Michael A. and Christian L. Dear brother of the late Mary Ann.
