What can I say about my dad? What can't I say about my dad is really the question. My dad was a caring, generous and a loving man. I will miss his stories about his childhood memories in Brooklyn on Degroat street and later on east 4th street. Playing stick ball in he streets, sharing memories about his parents and all his siblings. My parents grew up next door to each other. I recall a story my mom shared with me about my dad: This skinny 10 year old kid with black curly hair wearing knickers had moved in next door, never realizing we would fall in love and share our lives together. Only dating till they were in they were in their later teens and getting married at 19 & 20. I recall our trips to disney,canada,tennessee and our frequent trips to the shore. Also, our adventures with the station wagon to the drive in camped out in the back. We were blessed to have such kind, generous parents. Wrapping Christmas presents together with my mother directing him. These are the memoires that I will remember for my entire life In later years, I would watch my dad taking care of my mom when her health was declining and watching how devoted they were to each other. Also, never, leaving the house without a kiss goodbye. When my mom passed away I made a promise that I would always take care of my dad. He deserved it,. he never asked for anything except a cup of coffee and a jelly donut from dd. I know that me and my siblings inherited our parents work ethic. My dad was a hard worker. As a young man he was a grocery delivery boy, shined shoes and later would become an plumber assistant. His interest would later encourage him to become a master plumber. His love or his family never stopped. His love for his children continued with his love for his grandchildren. I will miss him "directing" me in making his awesome spaghetti sauce and his ice box cake. I know that now he is with him wife, parents and his siblings and at peace Words cannot describe the loss I feel but i know he is in "good" hands up above. . Love you
