Obituary of Linda A. Kadel

Linda A. Kadel of Mt. Arlington, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday January 31, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Joseph Canterino and Edna Canterino (Emerson), Linda resided in Mt. Arlington for 63 years and was married to her husband Bob who she loved. They were married to for 55 years, until his passing. She worked as a Senior Property Manager at First Service Residential in Wanaque, NJ. Linda loved animals and was a long-time proponent of women's rights and animal welfare, but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.

Linda was predeceased by her husband; Robert F. Kadel, Sr. and son Patrick R. Kadel.

Survivors include her son Joseph Kadel, daughter; Elizabeth Bocchino, son-in-law; Tyler Bocchino, seven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Linda's arrangements are private and entrusted to Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, Landing, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Skylands Animal Sanctuary and Rescue in Wantage, NJ (or your favorite animal charity) in her name.
