Obituary of Marion A. O'Donnell

Marion A. O'Donnell, 96, of Stanhope, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, February 7, 2025 at St. Clare's Hospital Dover Campus surrounded by her loving family. Marion was born on May 21, 1928 in Union City, NJ to the late Charles and the late Olga Lang Boehm.

Marion was a seamstress employed by both Dover Upholstery and Fabrications by Shelia for many years before retiring. She was a longtime resident of Stanhope, NJ and enjoyed mahjong, traveling and the theater, but most importantly, Marion cherished spending time with family and friends at her "lake house".

Marion is survived by her devoted children; Gail Moriarty, Susan Hill and her husband, Edwin, John O'Donnell and his wife, Emilia and Kenneth O'Donnell and his partner, Donna Perkins. Additional survivors include her cherished grandchildren; Jim Irwin, Dan Irwin, Patrick Hill, Thomas Hill, Joseph Hill Stephen Hill, Heather Konya and Peter-Jon Perkins and her great-grandchildren; Ella Irwin, Alex Irwin and Adam Irwin.

She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, John M. O'Donnell in 1987, her uncle; George Ball and granddaughter; Valerie Hill

Marion's services are private and entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.
