

Obituary of Frank P. Cautero
Frank P. Cautero "Pops", 83, longtime resident of Netcong passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover Campus surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on March 12, 1941 to the late Anthony and the late Mary (Rinaldi) Cautero, Frank has resided in Netcong for 60 years. Frank worked at Picatinny Arsenal as a Systems Analyst prior to his retirement after 50 years of service.
Frank was a "kid at heart" and was well-known for his fun-loving nature and zest for life. He loved having fun with family and friends, as well as, playing golf, taking walks around Lake Musconetcong, playing pickleball at the YMCA, dancing, playing the piano and rooting for his beloved NY Yankees. Above all, Frank loved spending time with his five granddaughters, whom he loves dearly.
Frank was an active member of the Netcong Community. He was a devoted parishioner of St. Michael RC Church, Netcong, NJ where he served as a Confirmation Sponsor and was a member of the Our Lady of The Assumption Society. Frank served on the Netcong Elementary School Board of Education, the Netcong Planning Board, volunteered as a coach for many Netcong Community sports organizations and was a devoted mentor, loving husband, father & grandfather.
In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by his twin sister; Concetta Koninis (Cautero).
Survivors include his wife of 60 years; Susan (Ceddia), daughter; Luanne Canfield and her husband; Michael and son; Anthony Cautero and his wife; Jennifer, five granddaughters; Sarah, Megan, Kathryn, Isabella and Alyssa and brother; Vincent Cautero and his wife Carolyn. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, in-laws and extended family.
Frank's Life Celebration will include visitation on Sunday February 23 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday February 24 beginning at 11:00 AM at St. Michael RC Church, Netcong. Frank will be laid to rest at Stanhope Union Cemetery, Mt. Olive Township. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Frank's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital at www.stjude.org.
