Obituary of Barbara Heller

Barbara Heller of Mt. Arlington, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2025 at St. Clare’s Hospital Dover Campus surrounded by her loving family.  She was  84 years old.  Barbara was born on August 7, 1940 in Newark, NJ to the late Bynum and the late Mary (Price) Raynolds.

Barbara owned and operated Elegante’ Catering for many years before retiring.  She was also employed at Allied Chemical where she supervised the executive food services.    Barbara was an avid reader and enjoyed the theater, movies and fine art.  She was very fond of both Paris and New York City but most of all, Barbara cherished her time with her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Barbara is survived her beloved husband of 66 years, Richard Heller, her devoted children; Donald, James and Sandra and her cherished grandchildren; James, Corey, Kristen and Katie.  Additional survivors include her great-grandchildren; Zakery, Damion, Isabella and Enzo and several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Barbara was pre-deceased by her siblings, Jack and Nancy.

Barbara’s Life Celebration will include a Visitation on Tuesday, February 25^th from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, New Jersey.
