Obituary of Carol Ann Faessinger

Carol Ann Faessinger, 82, of Stanhope, NJ, formerly of Hopatcong, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Morristown Medical Center.

Born on July 17, 1942 in Hackensack, NJ to the late Bernard and Lillian (King) Stewart, Carol grew up in Maywood, NJ and resided in Hopatcong, NJ, Myrtle Beach, SC and Elizabethtown, PA prior to moving to Stanhope 1.5 years ago.

Carol loved flowers and gardening. She was an animal lover, enjoyed playing cards, going to shows and was an active volunteer with Special Olympics. Above all else, Carol was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.

Carol was predeceased by her husband; Charles in 2021.

Survivors include two sons; Keith and his wife; Colleen and Wade and his wife; Carrie, grandchildren; Kellan, Kaigen, Cara and Alyssa, brother; Bruce Stewart and Carol's loyal dog; Sadie.

Carol's Life Celebration will be announced by the family at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, Landing, NJ.
