Obituary of MaryAnn C. Pandiscia

MaryAnn Pandiscia, 81, of Denville, formerly of Brooklyn, NY and Stanhope, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 31, 2025 at St. Clare’s Hospital, Denville Campus.

 

Born in Brooklyn, NY on October 2, 1943 to the late Emedio and Lucia (Allocca) Marotta, MaryAnn has resided in Denville for 3 years.  She was retired from her position as a Licensing/Registration Coordinator at Comprehensive Asset Management and Servicing, Inc in Parsippany, NJ.  She also worked as a clerk at Garden Cleaners in Hopatcong, NJ. 

 

MaryAnn enjoyed listening to music.  Some of her favorites were the Allman Brothers, Rolling Stones, Frank Sinatra and “the blues”.  She also enjoyed cooking, reminiscing about Brooklyn and shopping.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.  One of MaryAnn’s trademarks was addressing gifts to her grandchildren as “G’Ma”.  She was a parishioner of St. Jude RC Church, Hopatcong, NJ.

 

In addition to her parents, MaryAnn was predeceased by her husband; Domenick in 1997, brother-in-law; Andy Conte and nephew; Andrew Conte.

 

Survivors include her three sons; Dominic and partner; Melissa, Anthony and wife; Dana and Edward and wife Doreen, daughter-in-law; Nancy, ten grandchildren; Christa, Nick, Andrew, Joey, Nikko, Nicole, Anthony, Michael, Domenick and Cecilia, sister Laura Conte, brother; Thomas Marotta and his wife; Gloria and brother-in-law; Mike Pandiscia and his wife; Debbie

 

MaryAnn’s Life Celebration will include visiting hours on Friday, April 4 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ.  A funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, April 5 at 9:30 AM at St. Jude RC Church, 40 Maxim Drive, Hopatcong, NJ. All are invited to meet directly at church on saturday morning. MaryAnn will be laid to rest at Stanhope Union Cemetery immediately following the conclusion of Mass.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Vietnam Veterans of America at www.vva.org.
