Obituary of Caroline Brandon

Caroline "Carole" Brandon of Netcong, NJ passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She was 81.

Born to the late Sam and Molly (Elfant ) Freed in Hollywood, CA. Carole was raised in Ardsley, NY before moving to Mt. Arlington, NJ for many years where she raised her family with most recently moving to Netcong.

Carole worked at Warner Lambert after attending business school and then becoming a Real Estate Agent for Weichert Realtors in Landing for 50 years. Carole loved traveling, spending time with her children, friends and grandchildren and attending all the kid's sporting events and activities. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, sitting in the sun, the beach, being on Lake Hopatcong, and of course most of all shopping. Carole also loved to entertain, cook and was known for her meatballs and always left her door open to her home for those to enjoy.

Carole is survived by her beloved husband Robert of 61 years. She is survived by her children Jeffery Brandon and his wife Kim and Stephanie Brandon-Pavese and her husband Adam. Her grandchildren Mitchell Brandon and his wife Alice, Steven Brandon, Marc Pavese and Molly Pavese. Her brother Martin Freed and his wife Shelley and her sister-in-law Gloria Freed. She is predeceased by her son Marc Brandon in 1989 and her brother Jerome Freed in 1999.

Carole's Life Celebration will be held on Thursday, May 1 from 4 to 8pm at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850. A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, May 2 at 10am at the funeral home. At the conclusion of services Carole will be laid to rest next to her son Marc at Stanhope Union Cemetery, Mt. Olive Twp., NJ.
