Obituary of Robert Verdicchio

Robert Verdicchio of Succasunna, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville surrounded by his loving family. He was 90 years old. Robert was born on September 20, 1934 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Patrick and the late May Post Verdicchio Robert was a long-time resident of the Succasunna Section of Roxbury Twp., New Jersey. He was a Chemist at Johnson & Johnson in Skillman, NJ for many years before retiring. Robert enjoyed running, fishing, reading and watching the New York Giants Football Team. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Society of Cosmetic & Chemist and a parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church in Dover, NJ. Robert cherished his time with his loving family and many dear friends. Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Henrietta Verdicchio (nee Schauble), his children; Robert P. Verdicchio, Joseph S. Verdicchio, Theresa Bruno, Donna Mattee, Debbie Gorman and Dorothy Vinson. Robert was pre-deceased by his cherished daughter, Dawn Galvao in 2005 Robert's Life Celebration will include a Memorial Service on Monday, May 12th at 12pm at The Hope Church at 1441 County Rd 565 in Wantage, NJ followed by a luncheon. Family and friends are invited to meet directly at the Hope Church on Monday.
