Obituary of Wayne Edmund Harris

Wayne Edmund Harris of Hopatcong, NJ passed away at his home Friday May 16, 2025.

He was born in Dover, NJ and lived his entire life in Morris County. He started working for Westinghouse in Succasunna, until they closed. Then has worked as a bartender for well over 40 years in various locations, including Muldoon's in Ledgewood for the majority of his time.

Wayne was an avid collector of sports and entertainment memorabilia. Also, played golf and affiliated with numerous groups. Wayne also had made numerous friends as his years working and various groups he was involved with.

Wayne also enjoyed the get-togethers with family and friends for hibachi.

Wayne is predeceased by his father Carl Edmund Harris, his mother Dominica Fernandez-Harris. Two great nephews Joseph C. Savage III and Anthony M. Prutzman.

Wayne is survived by his sister Donna L. Harris-Prutzman, Nephews and nieces John J. Prutzman Jr., Heather Prutzman, Timothy J. Prutzman, Cheryl DeFelice, Tami Prutzman - Culp, Donald E. Culp, Nicol Prutzman- Colondrillo, Russell T. Colondrillo. As well as numerous great nieces and nephews that he absolutely loved and cherished.

A celebration of life will be held at the Horseshoe Lake pavilion 72 Eyland Ave Ledgewood, NJ June 4, 2025 at 2:00PM.
