Obituary of Charles "Jeffrey" Latham

Charles "Jeffrey" Latham of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was 64 years old. Jeffrey was born on March 22, 1961 in Dover, NJ to the late Charles and the late Ernestine (Kersey) Latham.

Mr. Latham grew up in VG (Victory Gardens) where he was very well known amongst his many friends and neighbors. Jeffrey was also a long-time resident of Dover, NJ before moving to Hopatcong. He was employed as an Assistant Scientist for Pfizer in Morris Plains for many years before retiring. Jeffrey enjoyed fishing but most importantly, he cherished his time with his devoted and loving family.

Jeffrey is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Janet, his devoted children; Jayson, Jovan and Jennifer, his sister, Angela and his cherished grandchildren; Madison, Jayson Jr., Jordan and Munachi. Additional survivors include several extended relatives and many dear friends.

Jeffrey's Life Celebration Services will include a Visitation on Friday, June 6th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with "Words of Remembrance" and a Prayer Service beginning at 10:15 am at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, New Jersey.
