My heart goes out to the Doyle family, in particular Barbara's sisters and brother, Chris, Jeanne, Ginny and Jim. I can feel their hearts are breaking. I grew up across the street from the Doyles in North Babylon. I always looked up to Barbara, as a "big sister". She was beautiful, "cool" and smart. I can remember her studying for her nursing exams, practicing with flash cards in their living room. I hope these fond memories of Barbara bring them peace.

She was a wonderful nurse with true “nursing sense” as she and I called it. Working with her in the endoscopy suite made everything so much more fun, and she could stick an IV in anyone! She will be missed. Deepest condolences.

Barbara was my best friend for over 50 years, even though I now live in Arizona we stayed close via phone.
I am devastated. We had so much fun when we were younger. I cannot believe she is gone.

Barbara has been my dear, dear friend since 7th grade. We shared so many adventures together, so many ups and downs, and never lost touch over the last 64 years. Her loss is devastating. The memories are many from my long friendship of 74 years with Barb. We lived across the street from each other in North Babylon since we were 2 years old. Our friendship endured even over distance, when we spoke it was like time stood still…reminiscing on all the things we did together. I will miss her dearly, my heart is broken. Prayers to her beautiful family that she created and loved beyond measure.
