Obituary of Daniel Jacob Ortiz

Daniel Jacob Ortiz, 24, of Hopatcong passed away on Wednesday July 2, 2025.

Born on June 3, 2001, to Domingo Ortiz, Jr. and Adriana Boralsky Ortiz, Daniel was a graduate of Hopatcong High School and worked as a Tow Truck Driver for Ron & Sons Towing in Kenvil, NJ.

Daniel loved to play basketball and play video games, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family, friends and co-workers.  Daniel was a very friendly person, always smiling and there for not only the ones he loved the most but everyone.  Everyone who knew Daniel knew that he was your person to make you smile, make you laugh, to make you question yourself, to make you enjoy life a little bit more.  His amazing personality was a true gift from GOD.

Survivors include his proud parents; Domingo Ortiz, Jr. and Adriana Madrinan Boralsky Ortiz, siblings; Luis Boralsky, Diana Boralsky Fleming and Richard Boralsky, nieces and nephews; Mia Boralsky, Nico Boralsky, Kaden Fleming, Xavier Fleming and Landon Fleming, sister-in-law; Leanne Rocco Boralsky grandparents: Domingo Ortiz, Sr, Violeta Ortiz, Armanda Torres and Jorge Enrique Madrinan aunts and uncles: Iris Ortiz, Samuel Ortiz, Lina Hetman, Marisol Madrinan, Liliana Madrinan, and his girlfriend; Alyssa Beeh.

Daniel’s Life Celebration will include visiting hours on Monday July 7, 2025, from 4:00-8:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ.  A funeral prayer service will be offered on Tuesday July 8, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Family and friends may begin gathering at the funeral home at 9:30 AM Tuesday morning.  Daniel will be laid to rest on at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ.
