Obituary of Marie A. Esolen

Marie A. Esolen of Stanhope, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 83 years old. Marie was born on September 5, 1941 in Luzerne County Pennsylvania to the late Raymond and the late Julia Antellocy Miller

Marie was a long-time resident of the Stanhope, NJ and a graduate of Morris Hills High School. She was an active member of The Holy Wisdom Byzantine Catholic Church in Flanders, NJ where she formerly served as secretary. Marie was employed at Kenroe Corporation and later transferred to Bell Telephone Company (aka - NJ Bell then acquired by Verizon) where she retired after many years. She enjoyed trips to the casino (Mt. Airy) but most importantly Marie loved spending quality time with her loving family.

Marie is survived by her devoted daughters; Linda Carlesi and Marie Esolen and her cherished grandchildren, Vincent, Michelle and John. Marie was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Raymond in 1995.

Marie's Life Celebration Services will include a Visitation on Tuesday, July 15th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road in Landing, NJ. There will be a Funeral Mass offered on Wednesday morning, July 16th at 10:00 am at Holy Wisdom Byzantine Catholic Church, 197 Emmans Road in Flanders, NJ. Marie will be laid to rest with her beloved Husband at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Twp., NJ immediately following the Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning.

All services are entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.
