Obituary of Lorant Szabo

Lorant Szabo of Succasunna, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was 53 years old. Lorant was born in Kralovsky Chlmec Slovenski Republika on April 28, 1972 to Maria Szabova and the late Ladislav Szabo.

Mr. Szabo served in the Slovak Armed Forces before emigrating to the United States in 1994. Lorant was a long-time resident of the Succasunna Section of Roxbury Twp. He was a general contractor and owned and operated LMC Home Improvement, LLC. for many years. He was very handy and could build or fix anything. He enjoyed working on cars, watching his sons' sporting events and traveling but most importantly, Lorant loved spending time with his devoted and cherished family and friends.

Lorant is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Adrienn Szabo, his cherished sons, Marcell and Christopher and his mother, Maria Szabova. Additional survivors include his sister, Agnesa Kocsiova and her husband, Tibor, his brother, Laszlo Szabo and his wife, Andrea Szabo, his nieces and nephews; Sophia, Brigitta, David, Luca and Gerda, his mother-in-law, Nagy Dezsone Ani and his brother-in-law, Attila Nagy and his wife, Erika. He was predeceased by his father, Ladislav Szabo and his father-in-law, Dezso Nagy.

Lorant's Life Celebration will include a Visitation on Saturday, July 19th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with an 6:30 pm Prayer Service offered at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ.
