Obituary of Wayne Minerley

Wayne Minerley of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 72 years old. Wayne was born on October 19, 1952 in Hackensack, NJ to the late William and the late Dorothy Dasler Minerley. Wayne was a lifelong resident of Hopatcong, NJ. He was employed as a custodian with the Hopatcong Board of Education for many years before retiring. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and was very fond of fishing and gardening. Wayne is survived by his brothers, William Minerley and Robert Minerley and his wife, Kim. Additional survivors include his cherished nieces and nephews; Sarah and Chris and his great-nieces and nephews, Olive and Ezra and several additional extended relatives and dear friends. Wayne's Life Celebration Services will include a Visitation on Monday, July 28th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a 7:30 pm Prayer Service offered at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ.
