Obituary of John P. Corriero

John P. Corriero of Byram Twp., NJ (formerly of Hopatcong) passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was 74 years old. John was born on April 30, 1951 in Somerville, NJ to the late John and the late Ida Vederio Corriero and was very proud of the fact that he was raised in Greenwich Village New York.

John was a long-time resident of Hopatcong, NJ before moving to Byram Twp., NJ a short time ago. He was a graduate of St. John's University and then employed by Mayor Edward Koch's Administration in the Youth Services Division where he worked for many years. Prior to his retirement, John was employed as a caregiver for disabled adults at Willowglen Academy. John was an avid New York Yankee Fan and he enjoyed many trips to the casinos. His greatest joy in life was spending quality time with his loving and cherished family – especially supporting his wonderful grandchildren.

John is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Patricia (Moreschi), his devoted daughters; Kelly Santucci and her husband, John and Kristy D'Amelio and her husband, Joe and his cherished grandchildren; Dylan, Devin, Addison and Domenic.

His wife, kids and grandchildren cherished all of their time with him and loved him more than anything. He was everything to them and was truly loved by everyone who knew him.

John's Life Celebration Services will include a Memorial Service to be announced by the family in the future.
