Obituary of Urban W. Pellinger

Urban W. Pellinger, 92, of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday August 4, 2025 at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover Campus.

Born on July 19, 1933 to the late Urban G. Pellinger and Martha (Pearce) Pellinger in Roselle, New Jersey.

Urban was a truck driver for Peter R. Frazze in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. He was Veteran of the United States Army, who enjoyed going to the Diner with his grandchildren, working on his cars, as well as going to the shooting range.

Urban was predeceased by his wife Marcella in 2002 and grandson Gregory Pellinger in 2015. Survivors include his Daughter; Jeanie Feltwater and husband Bob, Sons; Gregory Pellinger and wife LeeAnn, Jeffery Pellinger and wife Joan, and Glenn Pellinger and wife Dina, along with 15 Grandchildren and many, many Great-Grandchildren.

Urban's Life Celebration will be held on Thursday August 7, 2025 from 4-8 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850. Urban will have a graveside service at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Township with Military Honors on Friday August 8, 2025 at 10am. All are welcome to meet directly at the cemetery on Friday.
