Obituary of Kathleen Cota

Kathleen "Kathy" Cota of Mt. Arlington, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 67 years old. Kathy was born on June 13, 1958 in Dover, NJ to the late John and the late Gertrude Krauth.

Kathy was a long-time resident of Mt. Arlington, NJ. She was a medical assistant employed by Morris County Urology in Denville, NJ for many years before retiring. Kathy enjoyed swimming, boating on Lake Hopatcong, trips to the beach and tanning but most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Kathy is survived by her beloved husband of 25 years, Robert Cota, her step-son, Chris Cota and his wife, Colleen and her grandchildren; Carson and Kylee. Additional survivors include her sister, Janet Nelson and her husband, John and her brothers, Greg Krauth and Larry Krauth and his wife, Ann, her niece, Cara, her nephew, Kyle and her great-nephews, Kaleb and Kellen.

Kathy's Life Celebration Services will include a Memorial Gathering on Friday, September 5th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home. 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ.
