Obituary of Henry B. Foley

Henry B. Foley, 86, of Hopatcong, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 30, 2025 at Excelcare in Dover, NJ.

Born in Brantley, AL on October 20, 1938 to the late John and Eva (Sims) Foley, Henry was an oil burner technician and oil delivery driver in the Hopatcong area for many years. Henry was also a skilled mason in stone, brick and concrete. He served proudly in the Army National Guard.

Henry was a long-time volunteer firefighter and lifetime member of Northwood Engine Co. #2 in Hopatcong, NJ. He was known as a hard worker, a good neighbor and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Henry's greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his wife; Kate Foley in 2012 and his sister Johnnie.

Survivors include his two daughters; Joyce Tambini and Pam Foley-Norman and siblings; Devan Foley, Ilandia Basile, Marcy Basile, Paul Basile and wife; Kathy, and Luigi Basile and wife; Donna. Henry was also Uncle, Grand-Uncle and Great Grand-Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
