Obituary of Irene G. Swayze

Irene G. Swayze, 86, of Stanhope, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday August 31, 2025 at her home of 52 years where she wanted to be surrounded by loved ones.

Irene was born on February 16, 1939 in New York City to the late Louis Dertinger and the late Marie Dertinger.

Irene was a selfless caregiver to the love of her life, Bill and retired from full-time work in 2023.

Irene was predeceased by her husband; William, Sr. and brother; Joseph. She is survived by her devoted son; William, Jr.
