Obituary of Robert "Bob" Sarro

Robert "Bob" Sarro (aka Oddjob) of the Landing Section of Roxbury Twp., NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ surrounded by his loving family. He was 76 years old. Bob was born on November 26, 1948 in Long Beach, California to the late Edward the late Shirley (Bailey) Sarro.

Bob was a Vietnam Veteran and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a long-time resident Landing, NJ and worked as a technician that specialized in environmental protection systems for large marine vessels for many years before retiring. Bob enjoyed riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles, martial arts, bowling, reading (history, sci-fi & horror) and archery.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Carol, his devoted son, Nick Sarro, his brothers; Jack Sarro, Ken Sarro and Ed Sarro and several additional extended relatives and many dear friends.

Bob's Life Celebration Services will include a Memorial Motorcycle Ride in his honor to be announced by the family in the near future
