Obituary of David Lucian Buda

David Lucian Buda, 81, of Landing, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Morristown Medical Center.

Born in Newark, NJ on May 5, 1944 to the late Daniel and the late Mildred (Castiglia) Buda, David graduated from Nutley High School, Class of 1963 and served proudly in the United States Air Force from 1966-1972. He has resided in Landing for 33 years. David worked as an Electrical Engineer until his retirement in 2013.

David was predeceased by his wife, Marilyn Buda, brother Daniel Buda and sister-in-law; Carol Buda.

Survivors include his children; Stephen Buda and Michelle Buda and his fiancé; Joan O'Donnell and a grandson Zackary Buda.

David's Life Celebration will include viewing on Tuesday, December 2 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. Military Honors and prayer service will begin at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. The remainder of services will be private.
