Obituary of Carole Ann Monroe

Carole Ann Monroe of the Landing section of Roxbury Twp., NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at St. Clare's Hospital Dover Campus surrounded by her loving family. She was 86 years old. Carole was born on March 11, 1939 in Jersey City, NJ to the late James and the late Sarah Bailey Monroe.

Ms. Monroe was a long-time resident of Roxbury Twp., NJ. She worked as an administrative assistant and a bookkeeper for several prominent local companies throughout her life. Carole was a member of the Forever Young Senior Group and was always eager to learn new things. She enjoyed gardening and reading and cherished her time with her loving family. Carole graduated Fairleigh Dickinson University with a high honors degree in English.

Carole is survived by her loving sister, Virginia "Ginny" Jenkins, her nephews; Scott Jenkins, Edward Monroe, Michael Monroe, Alan Monroe, Steven Monroe, her nieces, Karen Monroe and Denise Newman and her sister-in-law, Audrey Monroe. In addition to her parents, Carole was pre-deceased by her siblings; Arline Monroe, Robert Monroe and James Monroe.

Carole's Life Celebration Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
