Obituary of Alan Poller

Alan Poller, 69, of the Lake Hopatcong section of Jefferson Township passed away on Sunday November 30, 2025 at Overlook Medical Center, Summit, NJ.

Born in Biscke, Hungary on February 13, 1956, Alan came to the United States at the age of 17 and settled in Jersey City, NJ. He relocated to Denver, CO where he met Deb, moved to Johnsonburg and settled in Lake Hopatcong in 2003. Al was very proud to be an American.

Al was a master stone mason in Hungary, arriving in American he started Al's Drywall where he excelled in the trade. In 1989 Al and Deb started the business Advanced Flooring.

Al got great enjoyment golfing with his son and friends, watching the wildlife on the lake, car shows, but most of all, his time with friends and family and work.

Survivors include his wife; Debra "Deb" (Soule) and children; Sami and Drew.

Alan's Life Celebration will include visiting on Saturday December 6, 2025 from 9:00-10:00 AM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A family eulogy will begin at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Alan will be laid to rest at Stanhope Union Cemetery, Mt. Olive Township.
