Obituary of Regina R. Flyge

Regina R. Flyge of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, December 1, 2025 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ surrounded by her loving family. She was 75 years old. Regina was born on July 14, 1950 in Somerspoint, NJ to the late Richard and the late Catherine Tarantino Santoro.

Regina was waitress at the Fireside Diner in Ledgewood, NJ for more than 30 years before retiring where she was affectionately known as "Reggie". She enjoyed vacations with her family and friends but most importantly, Regina cherished her time with her granddaughter, Haylee.

Regina is survived by her beloved husband, Robert "Bob", her devoted daughter, Stephanie Verdetto and her husband, Sam and her cherished granddaughter, Haylee Verdetto. Additional survivors include her sister, Karen Santoro and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was pre-deceased by her sisters, Angela Santoro and Roseann Berger.

Regina's Life Celebration Services will include a visitation on Friday, December 5th from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a 6:30 pm Catholic Prayer Service at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850.
