Demetrios treated me like a brother and our company like it was his own. He truly cared about our sales outcomes and our family. Jeanne Ann introduced us in 2002 and since then, I've I spent more time on the phone with him than probably anyone in my life. Strategy meetings, trying ideas that didn't work...countless ideas that did work, we always dreamed big, talked about God, encouraged each other, complained...all the things brothers do. He'd offer to do work for free and I did the same whenever he was overwhelmed with jobs. That's the kind of relationship that goes well beyond business. I remember yelling at him for years for not updating his own website. His response, "I know man, I don't have enough time Mal. I gotta take care of my customers." Old school, tough, caring, and a team-guy they'll never make another like him. For years he'd come in and also sit down with my Dad and take images of parts and post them to our website. He didn't charge us for all those hours. In turn, we'd bring him new clients and he'd treat them like family too. It was a tremendous relationship based on giving and caring. I posted an image of our logo which I struggled to design. Demetrios came up with it back in 2004 I believe and it's not going anywhere. I'm so glad that you got to know God over the last year or so. You were always so cerebral trying to figure things out. So glad you figured that one out and were at peace while battling the past year. I already miss my friend and will miss you forever...especially when I need support that only you could provide. I'm sure they have computers, food services you can run, Coke, Camaros, BMW's, chicken tenders, burgers, and fries....maybe you can sneak a cigarette or two? Not sure that's on the menu but God's army just got a great one.
