Obituary of Peggy Dutton

Peggy Louise Dutton, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother went to be with her Lord at her home in Merry Heart Health Center, Succasunna, NJ on December 28, 2025. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Peggy was born in Lincoln, NE, daughter of George and Florence (Kreps) Dewey in 1933. She met and married her husband, Brock, in 1955. Peggy's passions were her home, family, friends, and faith in Jesus Christ. She was known for her bright smile and willingness to roll up her sleeves to help wherever needed. Peggy was an excellent cook and seamstress, and will be remembered for sharing these talents freely. She was also an unapologetic "chocoholic," and never declined an offer of sweets – preferably milk chocolate. Peggy is survived by her three children: Mike (Sharon) Dutton of Westerville, OH, Cathy (Rick) Luhman of St. Louis, MO, and Mark (Kathy Juliano) Dutton of Landing, NJ. Peggy is also survived by her grandchildren: Jason Dutton, Kathryn Dutton, David (Megan) Dutton, Mark Dutton, Amy (Alec) Lamancusa, Thomas (Anna) Dutton, Rachel (Mike) Eaton, Maggie Holper, Bethany Dutton, and Benjamin Dutton. Her step-grandchildren are: Eric, Beth, Trevor, Tara, and Patrick. Peggy's great-grandchildren are: Liliana, Jonathan, Theodore, Martin, and Rand Dutton, and Alden, Weston, and Evelyn Eaton. Peggy's sisters are Phyllis Bachman and Norma Eisele of Lincoln, NE. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Brock Dutton, and her great grandson, Joseph Dutton.
