Obituary of William E. Thomas

William "Bill" Thomas of Succasunna, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2026 at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was 64 years old. Bill was born on August 22, 1961 in West Orange, NJ to the late John R. and the late Helen O'Malley Thomas.

Mr. Thomas was a 1979 graduate of Roxbury High School and a longtime resident of Succasunna, NJ. Bill owned and operated Thomas & Sons Renovations in Succasunna for many years. Bill's greatest passion in life was working alongside his sons and many friends and taking pride in every job. He passed his love of hockey onto his two sons and truly loved to watch them on the ice. In addition to hockey, he enjoyed time at his favorite place "LBI" with his wife and best friend, Christine. Bill was very proud of the bond he shared with his brothers and of all the cherished memories they shared together.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Christine (nee Domanski) and his loving sons, Ryan and Nicholas Thomas. Additional survivors include his brothers; Peter Thomas, John Thomas (Leslie) and Michael Thomas (Maria) and his nieces & nephews; Peter (Emily), Michael, Kyle (Marketta), Sean, Alex, Kristina (Bethany) and Kevin, many cousins and dear friends.

Bill's Life Celebration Services will include a visitation on Sunday, January 11th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. There will be a Funeral Mass offered on Monday, January 12th at 10:00 am at St. Therese RC Church, 151 Main Street in Succasunna, NJ. Family and friends are welcome to meet directly at church for Mass.

Bill will be laid to rest at the First Presbyterian Cemetery of Succasunna immediately following the funeral mass.
