Obituary of Michael James Tresca

Michael James Tresca, 67, of Mt. Arlington, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday January 18, 2026 at Morristown Medical Center.

Born on January 22, 1958 in Passaic, NJ to the late Harry and the late Rosemary Tresca, Michael resided in Clifton, NJ prior to moving to Mt. Arlington 10 years ago. He earned his Bachelor's degree from William Paterson College in 1979. Michael worked as a Materials Management Coordinator for Lifepoint Health in Morristown, NJ and as a Security Guard at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.

Michael was an avid fan of the New York Giants and Notre Dame Fighting Irish football. He was a member and Past Exalted Ruler of the Clifton Elks Lodge #1569 prior to demitting to the Lake Hopatcong Elks Lodge #782 where he was recognized as a Past Exalted Ruler and served as Trustee, held many officer's positions including lodge bartender.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years; Mary (Marshall), and children; Michael R., Thomas M. and Elizabeth M. Michael was predeceased by his son; Matthew in 2002.
