Obituary of Maureen Rehe

Maureen Rehe of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6th 2026 at Merry Heart Assisted Living in Roxbury Twp., NJ surrounded by her loving family. She was 82 years old. Maureen was born on April 28, 1943 in New York City to the late Vincent P. and the late Rita Thorn McKeon.

Maureen was a longtime resident of Hopatcong, NJ. In addition to being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Maureen also worked as a bus driver for Byram Bus Company. She enjoyed watching beautiful sunsets in Florida and spending quality time with her large and loving family.

Survivors include her three devoted sons; William and his wife Patricia, Robert and his companion Kerri Flynn-Fulton and Richard and his wife Candace, eight grandchildren; Samantha, Robert, Brett, Larissa, Amanda, Anthony, Daniel and Mark and four great grandchildren; James, Derrick, Marley and Daniel. Maureen was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Helmut in 2023 and her sister, Patricia Ciaccio.

Maureen's Life Celebration Services will include visiting on Monday, February 16th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at with a Prayer Service offered at 12:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. Maureen will be laid to rest with her husband, at Restland Memorial Park Mausoleum in East Hanover, NJ immediately following the prayer service.
