Obituary of Raghbir S. Bisal

Raghbir S. Bisal of Succasunna, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at home surrounded by his loving family.   He was 88 years old.  Raghbir was born on October 1,1937 in Punjab, India to the late Gurdial S. Bisla and the late Dhan K. Bisla.

Raghbir was a long-time resident of Succasunna, NJ.  He earned his Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York and was an Engineer with Chu & Gassman Consulting Engineers in Middlesex, NJ for many years before retiring. Raghbir was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with his dear friends. He was a devout man committed to his faith.

Raghbir is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Rajinder, his daughter, Yasmir (Luke) and his son, Sarabjeet (Reema) and his cherished grandchildren Maya, Uma and Soem. Additional survivors include his brother Jagdish (Binder) and his many beloved nieces and nephews. Raghbir was predeceased by his brother Satwinder.

Raghbir’s Life Celebration Services will include a Visitation along with a Final Rites Ceremony on Saturday, February 14^th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Somerset Hills Crematory, 95 Mt. Airy Road, Basking Ridge, NJ #908-766-0522.  Family & Friends will meet directly at the Crematory on Saturday. Langar, Kirtan and Antim Ardas to follow at the Bridgewater Gurdwara, 977 Washington Valley Road, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 at 2:00.  All services are entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.   For memorial donations, please consider the charity of your choice.
