Obituary of Jamie Lynn Aughenbaugh

Jamie Lynn Aughenbaugh left us too soon on February 8, 2026 at age 22. Born in Belleville, New Jersey, Jamie was the youngest child of James R. and Christine Aughenbaugh. Her fearless spirit will always remain with her siblings, Kayla and Trevor. Jamie began her educational journey at Tiny Town Preschool, Florence M. Burd Elementary School, Long Pond Middle School, and Newton High School, where she met many of her dearest friends and created cherished memories along the way. She went on to attend the University of Connecticut where she recently graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. Jamie worked as a bartender at The Beacon and the Jefferson House, where her friendly spirit and welcoming nature left a lasting impression on all those who crossed her path. Jamie embodied sunshine in human form. Her energy was warm and enveloping, and life seemed to blossom wherever her light shined. She had been smiling since the first day she learned how, and that smile never left her face. She was a gift to this world, radiating through life with a luminous and vibrant spirit. She inspired everyone around her by being unapologetically herself. With a spunk and sass like no other, she moved through life boldly and beautifully. Jam took great joy in music, playing both piano and guitar. She loved her coffee, fitness, laughter, arts and crafts, spending time outside, and dancing around. She had an unconditional love for her friends and family that was felt in both quiet and joyful moments. A magical and whimsical girl full of love and passion, Jamie's spirit will forever shine in the hearts of those she touched. A memorial to celebrate Jamie's life will be announced by her family. In remembrance of Jamie Lynn's life, the family asks that charitable donations be made to Magee-Women's Research Institute & Foundation, the largest research center in the U.S. dedicated to women's health, or Little Free Library, a nonprofit focused on expanding book access for all.
