Janice and Patrice, we were so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Ruth was the epitome of a "lovely lady" and I have some great memories of the two of us as "Brownie Moms" at Nixon School. I know she will be greatly missed.

Ruth was a shining example of her deep and abiding faith. She always put others ahead of herself. Her tiny person packed such grace and quiet power. She made this world a better place.

To the world, Mrs. K. was our neighbor, but to us, she was family.
She was a constant, gentle presence who will always be in our hearts.
I’ll never forget her drinking coffee even on the beach, with her thermous in tow, or the way she’d give us quarters on Halloween. She had the patience of a saint, putting up with Janice and I giggling all night during sleepovers , playing Red Rover in the yard and making leaf mazes around the plastic ducks . She’d always ask us ten times if we wanted anything, ever the caregiver.
She raised two amazing women, and her sweetness will be deeply missed. Rest in peace, Mrs. K.
